Ocracoke, NC - I've been coming to the island for about the past 28 years. I've met a lot of great people throughout the years here on the island and have enjoyed the thousands of conversations with the locals and tourists.
Apart from being a world-traveller, I am a graduate student at UNC-G in the Spanish department. I hope to earn a PhD. before I rust.
Another interest I have is old cars and motorcycles. Classic cars especially, have always been my weakness. I enjoy buying and fixing-up old cars. At the moment, my driveway looks like a used-car lot!
After I wash the grease off my hands and arms, I'm can be found dining in a nice restaurant eating well-prepared meals and drinking a nice glass of wine.

FJ40 on Ocracoke Beach

Ocracoke, NC is my absolute favorite place in the world. I have been all over the world and have seen electrifying cities and beautiful beaches; but nothing matches Ocracoke Island. I've been coming here since I was 13 years old. It never has lost it's magical quality. I will be writing more about Ocracoke in the coming months, as well as adding more photos as I take them.
In the picture is my 1976 Toyota Landcruiser. For all of the car buffs out there, that's an FJ40 to you!
